  1. im not sure what sport, but usually scrimmages aren't like real games. they are "posed" like a game but they don't really count in the end. You just play another team or usually your own team (they split your team into two groups).

  2. you play each other or a different team for fun, its just like a practice game.

    good luck:)

  3. u play the 1st string 4 a little while, then the second and the third. the point of it is to try out all of your players to see how everyone does

  4. A scrimmage is similar to a regular game except that no score is kept.  Usually one team starts with posession of the ball and runs 10 or 20 plays before then allowing the other team to run 10 or 20 plays.  The ball is never advanced down the field based on gains.  After every play, the ball is again spotted at the same place, ie. the forty yard line on every play. There are no 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th downs.  Just continuous possession for the designated number of plays.  There are no penalties, so most of the time, the coaches will be in strategic places on the field so they can get the best view of how well their players are doing.

  5. same thing you do when playing a regular football game

  6. Just depends on how the scrimmage game is set up. Sometimes it played like a regular season game at other times it can be set up to where the offense and defense are placed in game like situations .

Like putting the ball on the twenty for red zone offense for coaches evaluate and of course your red zone defense. Scoreing can be different, different programs do different things in scrimmage's, your coaches are evaluating the areas your teams need to improve on and on the kids that need some expierence as well as getting the starters the warm up they need to get what our coach use to call it "battle ready". So during your scrimmage take it as opportunity to show your coaches what your capable of and in what areas your a huge help in.

  7. you play each other just like you would a real game...except it don't mean diddley poo poo.

  8. Well pretty much the coaches are in the backfeild and u are playin but when u do the play u do it like a billion times and hey thanks for those answers oh and don't let ur heart slow u down.
