Interesting, Deenie, I hadn't heard of this one before.  What do you suppose it means?  It's like on 12-21-12, when the sun Jupiter and Saturn will be in  direct alignment with the center of the Milky Way.  Are things coming to an end as we know it? In any event...I'll be watching.

I've been hearing this same thing for like 6 years in a row.

Mars would have to be so close that it pulled on the moon. This would cause earthquakes, tidal waves, and even volcanoes. Additionally, we'd be seeing these effects already, with it being so close to the time. Consider the number of months that Hale-Bopp was in the sky 10 years ago. And now think about something 1,000,000 times as massive. You now have the moon, which is one-fifth the size of Mars.

Seriously, we'd totally be seeing something by now.

In 2003 Mars came into its closest orbit of earth in 60,000 years, but nowhere near close enough to be considered a moon, and it didnt actually orbit us.

It may have looked like a tiny moon however.

Otherwise, I have no idea what you could be talking about, sorry.
