What do you know about Chile?

Longgggggg thin country, like a bean sprout.

THey speak SPanish with bullet train speed.

People are generally warm, but a bit 'distant' compared to other South American countries.

Gateway to Antarctic, and Chile has one of the highest cost of living in South America. Chile has awesome wine. They produce excellent Sauvignon Blanc, and they have this unique red wine variety called Camenere, taste like Cab Sauv.

They don't have divorce law UNTIL 2004, rather religious country I'd say.

I used to live in Santiago, Chile and i loved it.  It is awesome to be able to spend the day on the beach, and drive a few hours to the ski resorts to snowboard.  If you go be sure to try a traditional empenada.  They are awesome, and I have craved one ever since I left.  If you get more specific about what part I can go into more detail.  They only part that I didn't get to visit is the desert in the northern part of the country.
