  1. that Everest has about 120 corpses left

  2. Known as sagarmatta locally in Nepal where it is situated , the Mt. Everest is the highest mountain in the world having the height of 8848m above sea level.

  3. Everest is divided into several parts. after traversing the khumbu glacier you reach base camp. Between you and camp I is the khumbu icefall, which has many tall seracs and deep crevasses. You would then climb through the western cwm to camp II. From here you will climb the lhotse face, which is a very steep, slippery, icy slope about a half mile long to camp III, which is located below the top. From camp III, you will climb the yellow band, which is a large slab of limestone, and the geneva spur. After the geneva spur you will arrive at the south Col, which is camp IV.

From  the south col, you will start on your way to the summit. You will climb the southeast ridge to a place called the balcony, then more until you reach the south summit. Then you will traverse the knife-edge ridge between you and the summit. About half way between the south summit and the true summit you will come on the hillary step, which requires a lot of climbing skills, and is one of the most famous parts of the climb. It was named after sir edmund hillary. After ascending this 40 vertical foot notch, you will continue along the ridge, the kangshung face directly to your right. Then you will arrive at the summit. WOOT! anyways, i should've mentioned this earlier: you can't just hike right up. this is the pattern you will take:

bc (base camp) to camp I

    camp I to bc

    bc to camp II

    camp II to bc

    bc to camp III

    camp III to bc

    bc to camp IV

    camp IV to summit

    summit to bc
