I'm looking for answers to the following, or any other information you might have about weed in downtown chicago area:

What do people pay for it?

What does it typically look like?

What does it taste/smell like?

What quality is it(Regs, Mids, Dro) or some other name?

Basically...how good is it?

I'll be living up there very soon and am extremely curious, thanks for the help!

Marijuana is still a Schedule I drug.  I'd concern myself more with changing the law than brazenly trying to get the low-down...
