And they're pretty.

They might have powers They cant look at the full moon or be in water during the full moon. (I'm talking about the mermaids who only become mermaids if they are wet)

Mermaids live under the sea. They are half person half fish. They have a tail. They are very beautiful creatures.

My favourite story is The Little Mermaid. The original one, not the Disney one. The one where she suicides at the end.

Half human (top) and half fish (bottom). The women are very beautiful and after watching the movie "The Thirteenth Year" it appears the boys are human until 13 and then turn into a merman.

They are always portrayed as beautiful.

They are one of my favorite mythical creatures.
