  1. Things are going on at alarming pace.

    New operators are mushrooming.

In the presenet scenario passengers safety is prime concern.

It seems no one is concerned in this vital parameter. Commercial interest rules the fleet.

  2. Well...In Long Beach a major aircraft manufacturer and its mildly popular union (acronym for Unidentified A** Wipe) laid off hundreds upon hundreds of its Union members and replaced them with non union people off the street.(some admittedly from North Vietnam). ...a company secretary had a brain f*rt and later completely bypassed one large group hired seven yrs before these new aviation experts and gave another batch of superlative employees of seven yrs only one year of union seniority...  ..the newly acquired assemblers  got paid a little less for the same work and the company got the bob bitchen award from the General Office. ...thus defying seventy years of union philosophy and contracts...still unexplained....other than that.....not much....What is your next question?

  10. In the aviation industry you will become more aware of who is who. For instance, if you're in a room full of people the pilots are easy to pick out because they are busy telling everyone that they are a pilot.

I didn't quite make the cut as a pilot. I passed with flying colors but when it came time for my flight physical the doc gave me the bad news saying that my ding dong is too big to be a pilot. So I took his advice & got my A&P.
