There is a bond formed between men who fight and die together in battle that outlasts time.

There are so many examples like the following:

101st airborne veterans

1 airborne(British parachute) veterans

RAF pilots especially battle of britain pilots

USMC expecially those great men from the pacific in world war II

Vietnam war vets especially the air cavalry.

Luftwaffe (German air force World war II) the bomber and fighter squardons.

Does this kind of cameraderie still exist with the young lads today???

  1. umm ya...see it all the time in the military.

  2. oh yeah. The bond comes from going through **** together. You know how your friends that stick with you through the tough times are your closest friends. It works the same for men in battle.

  3. It can.  Such as with boy scouts.  Maybe a more weird one would be gangs. Sports teams have it (maybe not professional but University, college, high school and summer).

You just have to know where to look for it.

I don't think the bond would be as strong as those in the military like in the 101st airborne.

I think there is an odd stigma that is attached to being that close that should be broken.  Male bonding and/or camaraderie is a great thing as long as someone isn't thinking dirty. ha.

  4. yeah, my closest male friends would do anything for me if I was in trouble and I would return the favor if they ever needed anything. Saying that I would probably do the same for the female friends I have to.

  5. Yes, such camaraderie is being forged today. In Iraq, Afghanistan and tons of other war zones around the world.
