What do you like about living in a small family?

I grew up in a big noisy family full of girls. We're always talking, laughing and singing like crazy. Now I have a small family of my own and I feel really bad for my daughter coz she's missing out on all the good things I experienced.

However, there are good things about living in a small family ?

1. We get to pay attention to each other more

2. We have more money to spend on our child

3. Our child gets all the attention she needs

4. Quiet and peaceful at home

5. Vacations to faraway places are more affordable with less people

6. You don't need 2 refrigerators in the house

7. There's more space at home

But I still prefer a big family. I hope to achieve that once I'm healthy enough...

There are fewer people to fall out with.

Larger families tend to have factions.

I grew up in a large family with 5 kids, and am currently living with my husband and daughter ( a small family)  There are advantages and disadvantages to both, especially looking at it from an adult standpoint.  I never found that my large family had factions, though I can see where some people's families do.

The things that I like about a small family is that there is more ability to have one on one time with one another. Furthermore, when it comes to going out and doing things, there is less concern to cost than there is with a family of five kids.  There is also far less friendly "rivalry"

I'm an only child and we're three in the house.  But I'm happy the way we are and we're much closer =)

I live in a house of 8 and i wouldn't change it for the world...so im guessing NOTHING
