- Beautiful Rainforest

- Beautiful Beaches

- Beautiful girls with great butts in tiny bikinis WOW!!!!!!

- Carnival and s**y danses

- The Weather

DISLIKES

- Crime and Violence

- Poverty and major disparity between rich and poor

- Cutting down Rainforest to raise beef

- Corrupt government that doesn't care about it's people

- Brazilian girls don't like the cold and so never come to Canada  :)

LIKE

1. The people, culture and geography are beautiful!  The city of Rio is gorgeous, as are other nearby places.  Generally speaking, Brazilians are most often very friendly and gracious.

2. Brazilian barbecue: churrasco.

3. The Brazilian national drink: Caipirinha.

4. Public transportation abounds (buses, cabs, etc).

5. The weather is usually very good. (But no snow!)

6. Brazilian Portuguese is beautiful to hear.  I love how "dramatic" it is (vs. Spanish, which is more mellow).

7. Brazilian football (soccer)!

DISLIKE

1. Financial and employment struggles that many Brazilians face.  80% of country = at minimum wage.  Slums are a reality in many cities.  Even life for a Brazilian with a good job is difficult.  Taxes are high.

2. Lack of trust between people.  I'm sure there are many reasons for this... and it manifests itself in a variety of ways.  But, I've noticed it first-hand and my Brazilian friends speak of it often.

3. Corruption with government & the police.  It does affect daily life!

4. Crime (muggings, theft, etc)

WELL, THAT'S 7 LIKES AND ONLY 4 DISLIKES.

Like:

1- Nice weather (no extreme cold, no snow / sleet / ice rain...).

2- Nice people (few ugly faces...seems people are happier than in other places).

3- No war (it´s not a warrior culture country).

4- Vast nature beauty, with beautiful beaches.

5- Cheap life cost.

Dislike:

1- Hard business environment (very bureaucratic).

2- Low study level people.

3- Low wages.

4- High unemployment.

5- High-tech are too expensive.
