  1. I don't like it when they get too close to the microphone and you can hear that slurpy saliva sound when they talk. There is an announcer on NPR who clearly has dentures and you can hear them clacking around in his mouth. It drives me crazy.

  2. I like Bruce Bowie on Cisnfm - 103.9 fm in Edmonton.  He's on in the mornings and I have listened to him for over 30 years (on different stations)  He's funny, intelligent and entertaining.  Although his co-host, Sean is a goofball and is neither funny or intelligent!

  3. It all depends on what mood I'm in really.  Sometimes announcer chatter can be entertaining enough to listen to while other times, it feels mind-numbingly boring.  I usually listen to The Edge in Toronto and they have this one afternoon guy, Dave Bookie.  He always tries to hype himself up and sound both excited and exciting.  Unfortunately he is neither...  His interviewing skills are rather lacking as well.  He sometimes has  inside conversations with some guests on the air.  That's not very good for people listening since they are not in on it and they won't know what they are talking about.

  4. The thing i hate most about the girl announcer in the drive home show for Country 105 Calgary is her laugh. OMG she is so annoying and who names themselves Hotrod Harriet? Cant stand her. But what i like is Roger the other guy he is hilarious and always does voice impressions and makes listening to the radio when there is no music fun. He is awesome and always has something witty to say. You can tell he cant stand Hotrod Harriet too.
