  1. Well I think the best thing about Panama is currently Amador Causeway, its beautiful over there, has great restaurants and good lounges/clubs.

Also the Decameron resort is nice, but its best to stay 3 or more days to really enjoy it, I think the only thing that might be an issue in Panama is the service in some places, but overall it shouldnt be an issue.

There is so much to do in Panama, but its all about what kind of things you like to do...

  2. The things I like the best about Panama is the diversity.  Panama City is only about nine square miles; but in these nine sq miles is a whole lot of living going on.  Everything is built up and not out, so the population and commerce is very dense.  And in only about an hour I can easily be at a nice beach for a day to play in the water or in the mountains for a day in the cool breezes or in the hot steamy rain forest.

I enjoy the diversity of cultures that come from the indigenous people as well as the many foreigners that have made Panama their new home.  Panama City has truly become an international community.

As mentioned the great shopping and many restaurants are abundant.  You can literally spend as frugally or liberally as you would like.  Shop where the locals shop and buy $1.99 jeans .99 tops or shop in the new Louis Vuitton store in Multi Plaza and drop several hundred on a new purse.

We have a Smithsonian Marine and Rainforest Institute.  We have the second largest volcanic crater in the world with a wonderful little town called El Valle nestled in the crater.  We have white water rafting on the Chiriquí River.  The highest point in Panama is Volcan Barú where I hear you can see snow fall from time to time but it melts before touching the ground.  Bocas Del Toro, San Blas, Contradora are just some of the hundreds of islands that surround Panama.  Or travel from one side of the isthmus to the other side in the same day to watch the sun rise and set and to see the diverseness of the two oceans that make up the coasts of Panama.

Is there one location you must see, must do.  Yes, but that all depends on you and your expectations.

  3. well in Panama you can find several kind of things for enjoying by yourself if you come from US you can buy clothes, electronic machine, etc, those things are cheaper than united states, the foregin people live very well here and you can go to Decameron, causeway, chiriqui, bocas del toro, portobleo, san blas but it depends what exactly are you looking for

if you have any doubt you can find out in a Tourism guide.

  4. Well it all depends on where you're coming from.  I like everything.  It's safe, it's modern, and you can get around OK.

If you're from the US you will like shopping for clothes and eating, because when you compare both, it will be cheap and the food is great.  I think that consumer electronics are better priced in the US.

Visit the Panama Canal, the ruins of Old Panama, the old quarter, visit the Pacific beaches, Bocas del Toro, Boquete, and the surf spots like Venao and Catalina Beaches in the Azuero region.

Panama City is like any other major city.  It may come as a shock that a small country like Panama has a city like that, but well Panama's influences are very international so you'll se an interesting mix of architectures.  A city tour is a must if you like to invest or relocate here.  Even better plan on having a real estate tour and check out the different projects.

Good luck and have a lot of fun here!!!
