1. Mia pita gyro ap ola me tzatziki k xwris ketchap, to kalitero soublaki tis athinas k ena frappe, please!!!

  2. I like the ancient literature, i.e. tales by Homeros and his History.

Mythology doesn't impress me that much, somehow. Every land seems to have one.

  3. I visited Greece only once but it was a thrilling experience because i saw with my own eyes what i use to read about only in the Greek mythology, about the gods and goddesses, Zeus,Athena, Hera, Venus, etc. I do love Greek mythology and seeing the parthenon and all those other buildings and sculptures up on that hill is an experience I won't forget. i also love the wines, the salads with all those red red tomatoes and olive oil and I did enjoy the cruise among the islands. I grew up reading about Greece especially Greek mytholoy and if i have the chance i will visit again.

  4. I adore the Greek islands, and its one of my regrets in life that i didn't move out there 20yrs ago when my girls were younger.

Everything you said above i love about Greece. I live in Scotland and it too is beautiful , has history and culture, but the sun and weather in Greece makes the place glow and along with the warmth of the sun you have the Greek people . What a lovely race of people they are. They are warm full of humour, and have a real laid back attitude to life, anytime i have visited the islands i have left behind me Greeks who i shall never forget, and the less tourists you have in a resort the more of the locals you get to know the better time you will have. I have never been in Mainland Greece apart from Halkiidki which has as island feel to it, so i cant comment on the cities. Yamos

  5. I am a real Greek, born and raised in Greece.

    I like the sea!

And our islands, and the mainland, our ancient architecture, our history, our culture, our traditional music, and the food and wines!

    And the people!

And the way of life and the philosophy we have: going back thousands of years!

And the religion: just look at our icons and the old churches!

  6. It's ancient heritage the most, which includes culture and history (mythology and philosophy are my favorites), I think landscapes are amazing, people are great, and I listen Greek music regularly.

  7. I like all the things you mention and many more... It will take me so much time to write down everything I love about my country. And even then I'm sure I will have left out many things as the beauty of Greece is impossible to be described.

I'm not sure how many Americans have been to Greece. An average of about 1 million Americans go to Europe every month, as opposed to 1/2 million each to inland Mexico and the Carribean.
