What do you like most about city life?

And if you had to make a picture story about it what would it be about?

Nightlife, dining, shopping, theater, movies, diversity, cultures, ethnic foods, the list is endless.  Like most major cities, it is not without its problems, but the pros outweigh the cons.  

Many people (especially baby-boomers) are moving back to the city, which is making the price of condos and townhouses extremely expensive but attractive, because of the convenience of having a one-stop, do-it-all atmosphere, without ever driving your car.  A few years ago, a new development was built about 15 minutes from my house, and the asking prices start at $250,000.  Most of the people I see living there are young professionals and a few retirees.

I was born and raised in a big city, so I actually look forward to moving to a small town environment when I retire.  I have somewhat outgrown the big city life, but I don't want to be too far away from the action either.

After always being a city gal, I had to move to the country for 20 years.  It was awful for me.  All I did was drive for those years since nothing was nearby.  It was very stressful taking care of cows, mowing, etc.  I moved back to the city again four years ago.  I love the convenience of having everything nearby.  The city I live in has such wonderful recreation centers.  Basically, anything you want is within a close driving distance.   I love having fastfood and restaurants nearby.

The diversity and the tremendous amount of options for work,entertainment, food...etc...
