  1. jealous much????

you probably can't even play and you have to rip on it to justify how horrendous you really are.

    anyway...

as for this matter of calling brits 'limeys'....nevermind intellect, this obviously showcases your level intelligence and lack of culture. or if this is merely to get a rise out of people, perhaps you'll soon learn once you're in the emergency with a broken nose for saying such a thing. maybe then you'll know who the fairy is!

  2. Tray to play real tennis and you will see how difficult could be it even for macho as you. It is not necessary to see far than your nose to notice that there are strong reason tennis to be more commercial than your games even in US.

  3. ha ha

yes 'you lot' also have the watered down game of rugby to go with the rounders and netball.

  4. Some people like it, other people don't...and there's nothing u can do about it out there in the states!

It's an aggressive game (there is no draw... either you win or lose),

it's interesting and keeps u in suspense,

there are no fouls (like in football where you get in the field and you end up with your nose, leg , arm, head crushed or even dead),

and it is only for one or two players which means that if you do smth wrong you don't have the whole team of yours cursing u!!!

And it's better playing tennis than watching...

You should try!!! It's the best!

  5. I wonder what all the top American players would say to

    your question?

Keep on playing YOUR KID'S GAMES

Never heard of rounders in the US,that's played in England!!!

Even I know that and I am from Belgium!

  6. You don't need to be rude i don't really follow it but its takes alot more strength and concentration than you think. and football is one of the best games in the world and i think you'll find the rest of the world agrees with us on that one, thats why its most people national sport!!!!!!

  7. "Out here in the states"

Are you an English person pretending to be an American?  Your use of the English language indicates that you definitely aren't American.  Nobody in this country uses the word "Limey."  Never heard anyone talk about "rounders" either.

  8. What about John McEnroe , Jimmy Connors , the late great Arthur Ashe .. etc etc etc   all US citizens and all fabulous tennis players

And can you please explain what a limey is ???  I don't mind being called British , even better Scottish  , but never anything like a Limey

  9. Yup, I've got to say, tennis is nothing compared to netball. Man, that sport is so freaking intense! I swear, every single time the ball is passed it's like being in a speeding car on an obstacle course full of elderly people and babies in prams. It's possibly the most intense sport out there. Tennis just can't compare.

  10. I wonder what John McEnroe would say to your question? Or Pete Sampras, or Andre Agassi, or Arthur Ashe, or Andy Roddick or Venus or Serena Williams or hundreds of other top US tennis players. Them what can, do. Them what can't, criticize!

    EDIT:

And netball!!! You must be kidding (and I think you are). Any court game that has fat, and I mean REALLY obese players like you find in the world's 'best' netball teams (e.g. the Australian netball team), isn't a real sport.

  11. Netball???? That's mega-girlie!!
