What do you look for in customer service from a mobile phone company?

Politeness, of course, and also the ability to explain to people like me, who are not good with mobile phones for some reason, just how to do the basic, simplest things.  How, for example, do I read my text messages?  How do I listen to my voice mail?  Other than that, I don't need to know much else.

There is a guy working for Orange in Haywards Heath, West Sussex who is able to do this perfectly, without making me feel like a total prat.
