What do you make of the fact that apparently Silvestre has officially signed for Arsenal FC?

Aww the Arsenal fans don't want to welcome an ex-Utd player, or compliment him for that matter!

Better get used it, because he will be wearing an Arsenal shirt soon.

I'd like to thank him for his services but hope his career is all downhill from now on:DDDD

to be honest i dont care enough about him.i dont really wish his career goes downhill but then neither do i wis him success.

i think we should have got a bit more money for him though apparently welet him leave for 750,000? but it was mainly to decrease the wage bill.i do wonder though who will fegie use on the left if eva gets injured? fabio bit young yet and ive noticed he dosnt get on the bench like his brother

He will be super sub to cover for both Clichy or Toure, but until Toure is fit I think he'll be partnering Gallas, Djourou looks a bit shaky, and Senderos, well, we know he's the Swiss equivalent of Titus Bramble.

Considering we'll have CL, EPL ,league cup and FA CUP to play, having an experienced player in the defence is just what we need and just what we missed last season ( remember when Sagna injured, Toure playing RB and Senderos playing ! )

Hes cover so he's another bench warmer. Never liked him as a left back although he has improved a lot.

I'm gutted. I've always liked the lad. Been a great servant to the club and he's very good cover for Paddy Evra.
