  1. Jack is super popular as a first name in England.

Traditionally it is a nickname for John, but these days it can stand alone.

    It's classic, yet casual.

    Good choice.

  2. It's nice, much better than some of these ridiculous names that sound made-up, people are coming out with these days.

  3. A bit common these days,  sorry but it is,

    Although i do like it,

  4. People think that it is a very common name, but I really don't think so.

I really like that name and would consider naming my own child that.

I wish your sister the best of luck! And baby Jack  (possibly)!

  5. It's nice. Incredibly common though, she might want to give him a middle name so he can feel a bit different from all the other Jack's in the world. Or better yet get her to spell it the French way - Jacques - pronounced Zhack - that's really nice. :-)

  6. I think 'Jack' is a bit 'done' - it's a bit 10 years ago - people trying to be different if you know what I mean. My little boys called Joel - he just started school last year and everyone I've come across loves the name and thinks it's really cool. Not very common yet it goes back to Hebrew times. You may think different.. but same amount of letters . I also liked the name Jayden at the time.
