What do you mean by an accounting job? What are the sub branches of accounting?

There are several different types of accounting, managerial, tax, corporate, public.... Though if it is not specified or is simply part of an accounting department, then it is likely that you will be handling receivables accounts payable, payroll and such. You might also have to audit statements to make sure everything is correct, and maybe even prepare ending financial statements.

Jobs in the accounting department will often consist of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger.  Clerks, Staff Accountants, Senior Accountants, Controllers, CFOs.
