  2. Conservation means wise use. In the instance of renewable resources, this means using things that will be replaced within the next century (at the longest) rather than taking hundreds of millions of years to be replaced. For example, I have an arrangement with landscapers to drop off trees that they cut for my use as firewood. This saves the natural gas that I would have burned otherwise. It also reduces the amount of gasoline that they would have burned to take that wood to the landfill.

  3. The environmentalist want u to think that fossil fuels are not renewable.

Nature and plants through photosynthesis not only recycle our air but it also recycles fossil fuel.

  4. cut the dead and dying Trees and then grow new green trees

  5. ok jonnie b is blah, ya fossil fuels are renewable but at millions of years not on a relative scale.

but I see two people mentioned trees.  what about water.  We keep hearing about water shortages and droughts, there is water, but it's just not clean water.  consider a gray water system that recycles your bath/sink water to flush a toilet.  Recycle water from a downspout to water your lawn instead of using the water which was gone through a water treatment plant.  Just a few examples, I suppose you could also take a look at food/agriculture.
