Such that if you had a visitor's visa and no criminal records both in the country you are applying to and the one you reside in, you're called "legally eligible" to world? The foreign company could just sponsor you then or it necessarily means you have to have a working visa/permit there period? (Thanks!)

  1. a phrase such as the one you refer to would be from an immigration source. it is a general question, requiring an answer that there is no obstacle, legal or otherwise, to prevent you from entering a country other than the one you have a right to reside in. it probably, pertains to, 'a visa' to visit or work, or reside, in' a country or possibly an application to immigrate to another country. provided that there are no legal of fences or obligations at home or lies on application form the 'legality' of your application would go through a positive process for entry to that country.

you should write to the immigration/embassy of the country that interests you and ask what could be an advantage to your purpose in entering a country of your choice and what, precisely could be an obstacle.
