i have downloaded a torrent and i happened to read the users' comments below. one says that "i hope someone will seed. wanna download badly." what does this mean?

  1. a seed is someone who allready has the torrent and is allowing others to download from him, the more seeders a torrent has the quicker a file will download


  2. Someone who is seeding is distributing the file.  Allowing people to download it.

    He wants to leech it.  Downloaders are leechers.
