  3. It means repugnance.  Something distasteful that causes you to raise your eyebrows in: question, wonder, disbelief or smirk.

    It is a Cebuano/Visayan word  only understood by those who speak the language.  Not understood by the Tagalogs or any dialect in the country.

    Edit: like your name, Esoj B.  When taken in context in the Cebuano dialect, it means brave or strong.

  4. ka-hilas would mean "hair-prickling",as in hair-prickling behavior, as in seeing something that makes your body hair stand in shame, disgust or other weird emotion.

    yeah, it's unique to Cebuano. It still hasn't find its way to mainstream Filipino vocabulary.
