What do you need for College?

In secondary school you get given books to write in. Is it the same in college or do you have to buy folders and notebooks to take in with you?

You need to buy everything of your own. Some lecturers are quite strict on even pens if you've forgotten your own, not letting you borrow one.

It's often best to have a notebook person subject at least to avoid mixing all your notes up.

Binders - are better you can keep all your classes together in one book

wait until you find out what your classes are about before you buy anything

For college it's easier to take in notepads of lined A4 paper and ringbinders for your different subjects, you don't normally get given exercise books after year 11.

you need to buy notebooks to write notes in and folders to put papers in.  you will also most likely need to buy textbooks for each class..(in high school im sure you didnt need to purchase any textbooks).  In college you need to be quick and independent because your teachers wont look after you or help you unless you ask for it yourself.  relax and enjoy!

Well it kind of depends on your teachers but for every class you have to bring your own supplies. Some teachers will demand a binder with dividers while some will have no demands and you can just bring a pocketed notebook with pockets. As for textbooks they should let you know the first day of class or e-mail you a week before class starts to let you know what textbooks you have to buy. You can buy them either at your school bookstore (usually high prices) or online somewhere like amazon.com. You should buy used books to save money!! Good luck
