What do you need for back to school? ?

Hi ,

I went back-to-school shopping about 2 weeks ago but now that I look at all my stuff , It seems things are missing. I'm also going to grade 6.

School supplies, backpack, and etc. Mostly the teacher will tell you what you need in their classes or class.

I'm in 7th grade, and I think I can help you. Here are the things our 6th graders need:

Pencils (regular and mechanical)

Pens

Notebook Paper

4 binders for your core classes

2 or 3 notebooks

1 composition book

highlighter

Combination Lock

Colored Pencils

Book Covers (optional)

3x5 Index Cards

Simple calculator (I don't know what math you're going into. You might need this if you're advanced. In 6th grade, I took 9th grade math and had to use a calculator, but I don't know what you're doing.)

You will mostly need just a:

1 2 inch binder (or any other kind)

2 pencils (mechanical or non mechanical)

Highlighter

Eraser (just one)

Folder (s)

Dividers

Calculator (every school asks for a specific kind\brand).

That's pretty much it, the teacher will most likely tell you the rest during the 1st day\week of school.

Well I am going into grade 7. And my tip for you is to stay ORGINISED. Thats the answer. You just need to think ahead. Ask youself if you will need something in a class that you dont have yet. I HATE WHEN TEACHERS dont tell what you will need for the next grade. A thing that i do Is just look in the flyers. Most of the time if you see something it will refresh your memory. By the way, i have a blog about kids facing everyday challenges so check it out and maybe you will learn something before you go back to school :P

ok so these r the basics:

-bakpak

-pencils

-eraser

-sharpener

-ruler

-calculator (a simple one will do)

- @ least 2 notebooks

- lined paper

oh yea n remember this sixth grade is all about reviewin the hard stuff of 5th grade u'll learn som new thins but mostly u'll review so u won need fancy calculators or protractors or watever...
