What do you need in order to make tea from the actual herbs?

im just confused do you only need a teapot and one of those mini-strainer looking things?

Either a tea strainer ball/spoon or a teapot with a built-in strainer or you can use cheesecloth (available at cooking stores).  Unbleached muslin would sort-of work, but cheesecloth has a more open weave to allow the leaves to infuse.

If it is actual tea leaves, they look like herbs, then Just a tea pot and strainer. Brew the tea to your desired strength. I reccomend about a tea spoon of dry leaves per 2 mugs of hot water and brew for 2 mins while stirring.
