What do you need (school wise) to become a lawyer?

I live in Vancouver, BC.

And I am thinking about studying criminal law.

  1. A bachelor degree, a high GPA, and a good score on the LSAT.


  2. Any undergraduate degree will suffice, though a lot of would-be attorneys major in political science.  Keep your GPA at 3.5 or higher.

    Just as important is your score on the LSAT, which is a pure logic test--it requires no legal knowledge.

  3. Since you live in Canada all you need is an LL.B, an apprenticeship and successful completion of provincial skills and responsibilities training course.  

  4. You need to complete a four year college degree and get accepted to a law school. At the completion of law school you will need to pass your bar exam.
