Question:

What do you need so you can travel on an airplane?

I'm planning on going to FL. on a plane but I dont know if I should take a passport or what? I've never been on a plane or airport before so I dont know what they ask. I live here in CA and I was wonder if they ask for anything, like ID or what? Thank you for anwsering :D

  1. Typically you would show a drivers license or some sort of state ID card. If you are younger and don't have one yet they sometimes accept a school ID or if you are traveling with parents their ID should cover you. It really depends how old you are.

    You do not need a passport unless you are traveling outside the United States but if you have one and not a drivers license it is excellent ID.


  2. I have no clue, I know u need some form of id. Like i am going by myself on the plane, to visit relatives, and my mom took me down to my DMV, and got me my permit, there are also non driver license cards, U can get them anytime before you are allowed to get your permit, for me i have to be 16. So i can use the card as my ID card. My mom knows if your like older then 18 or something like that you need to show ID. Usually parents can get u on, but my mom got me my permit just in case. =)
