Hey guys, um I would like to know what kind of subjects do you need to cover to be a doctor? And how long would it take? I live in Montreal Quebec, Canada. So I have to go through 2 more years of college. And I finish high school in grade 11.

  1. Well I dont know if its the same in Canada (im from the uk) but generally you need biology, chemistry and maths from highschool/college. In university the medicine course lasts 5 years and then 2 years for general training.

  2. It's not about the title it's just about if your committed to the subject or not

  3. In high school you need to take physics, chemistry and maths. then you need to take Sciences in Cegep (with biology, chemistry, physics and maths) and maintain a very high average (R score of 34 if you want to go to McGill, but it's around that in every university). If your R score is high enough, you will have to go thirough an interview and they will then tell you if you're admitted or not. Really hard to get into.

I suggest you get involved in your community as well, because they usually take that into account.
