  1. In federal court, the defendant has no right to bail.  Rather he must show that he is not a danger to the community and he is not a flight risk.  In state court, usually every defendant has the right to bail, depending on the crime or if someone has violated their probation or their previous bond.  If a person is arrested for something other than a serious crime and is not already on probation, parole, or bond, then reasonable bail should be set.

  2. It depends on the crime he committed. If it is a misdemeanor then he will need I think it is 10% of the bail money.

  3. You don't go to jail for nothing, so if he wasn't a threat to society he wouldn't be in jail!

  4. cash

  5. 10% of his bond should get him out as long as you have the collateral to cover the rest. I been to jail many times in North Carolina. The cops here are tough.
