I have taken Driver's Education and passed the course. I have my 50 hours signed off for it. I took the course 1st semester sophomore year and am now going to be a senior. I renewed my permit not too long ago, but I lost it. I have a car and would like to get my license, but am not sure if I actually need the permit with me. I have the hours sheet, soc security card, birth certificate and a bill to my house. Will I need the permit still? And I've heard that if you're over 17y9m then you don't need some things. I'm just looking for clarification. Thanks. Also if you've recently taken the test at the Naperville DMV and had any pointers/what happens for the Driving portion, I'd appreciate it.

  1. Make sure you bring all those things listed.  As for your lost sheet im pretty sure it should be listed in the computer at the DMV.  As for the test

Make sure you know what your doing stay alert and remeber training.

Good luck with it hope you get your license?

  2. You wont need your permit. They have it all in the computer. Just bring all the stuff you said you have and they will give your your license
