What do you need to build a dynamo and how?

A dynamo is a motor used the other way round, i.e. to generate electrical energy from kinetic energy, not to generate kinetic energy from electrical energy.

basically, connect the output of the 'motor' to the driving device, a bicycle wheel or something and connect the power output to whatever you are powering. Make sure the output is correct by using a multimeter first.

You need a lot of experience, a machine ship, a wire winding shop to build one, and the first few probably won't work.

Buy one, it's a lot easier and cheaper.
