What do you need to cross the border into canada??

I have heard many different things about this. I live in the US and me and my friends are going to head up to canada and i was wondering what u need to cross the boarder...passport, or birth certificate?

A passport or two forms of government picture identification or a drivers license and a birth certificate.

If driving - two forms of government ID OR passport

If flying - need passport

Best to get your passport now though because the rules are changing and soon you will require a passport if driving across as well.

passports and id they will ask u some questions and probably ask u the same question again dont take a gun or anytihng liek that and ur fine

Are you going by car?  If you're flying you need a passport.  I am going to Toronto on Friday (I'm flying) and I had to have a passport.  I'm from the US as well.
