What do you need to do to become a personal clothes shopper?

Do you need to study fashion first and earn a degree? Does anybody know about personal shoppers? I'd like to be one!

Fashion would be my first stop although I think a degree wouldn't be essential (maybe just do a course?) then I would list myself in the classified Ads in a magazine or newspaper as a personal stylist/shopper. Once you get a few clients they will refer you to their friends, thats how you get started in that kind of career.

I think people like me would like one because I love clothes but I hate walking around malls and fitting on the clothes. I also think by judging your personality you would be a good clothes shopper because you are open to ideas and you wouldn't keep pushing your style on others.

do you mean being a STYLIST?

if you do, you more than likely, need a fashion degree.
