When landing on Luxury Tax in Monopoly, you must pay the bank the $75.  If you do not have any liquidable assets (like unmortgaged property), you must declare bankruptcy & the bank receives all your assets, which they may auction off.

Some "house rules" which have a Free Parking jackpot usually have players add $75 to the jackpot (which is commonly located in the center of the board).
