  1. In answer to hannahboo, a Reliant is a tricycle whether it has reverse or not, some motorcycles used to have reverse (the shaft driven ones in the 40's) and as a trike it can be driven on a motorcycle licence, with out a helmet.

  2. you would need a license for a smart car, a license doesnt isnt just to prove you no how to work a car its to prove you can drive on a road and watch for hazzards and understand road signs ect........ so basically u need a license to drive on public roads with  a car

  3. sorry to say this but to drive a smart car you need a bag for your head so no one will see who is driving, it is an embarrassing car to be seen in, be honest, thumbs downers

  4. The licence requirements for a Smart car are the same as for any other car.  Mind you, you would have to be pretty desparate to want to drive one at any time.

  5. A smart fortwo is a proper car - just a very small one, with a semi-auto or automated manual transmission.

As such you need a full car license (manual or automatic) to drive one in the UK.

You can drive a quadricycle on a lower-class license.

Vehicles classed as quadricycles include the Reva G-Wiz and NICE Mega City electric "cars" and offerings from Ligier and Aixam. These look like cars, but because of their low weight and power and simple transmissions (similar in operation to a "twist and go" scooter) are classified as "quadricycles" rather than cars under EC regulations, and do not need to meet the same safety requirements.

  6. An empty head.

  7. All motor vehicles driven on the queens highway ,Must be taxed insured and the person driving it must have a valid driving license. That is the law.

  8. This all depends on where you live.

In Wisconsin, you need a regular driver's license to drive one of these.

  9. Hi

In the UK any motor vehicle required for road use to be registered licensed , taxed and insured ,

If you do not have a licence you cannot have insurance !

The only vehicles you can drive are listed in the DVLA website for your type of licence .

And why they call it a smart car i fail to understand !

  10. medieval body armour so when you get crushed like a bug you dont die

  11. a smart driver

  12. No,  you need a full licence in the UK for any type of car. Smart cars are still cars and there is no exemption.

  13. regardless of engine cc a smart car has 4 wheels  a trike has 3 a motorbike 2

i think to drive a smart car you need

    a smart pair of pants

    and a smart shirt

  14. hi, i wouldnt have thought this is true, it used to be years ago with the robin reliants, if they never had a reverse gear in them then they were classed as a motorcycle.
