  1. Photo ID.

Always check with the airline you're flying with before you go, though.  Always.

  2. No passport is needed if you fly from one city to another in Canada but you will need a ticket and id.

  3. Some ID and A birth certificate

  4. government photo id.

  5. No, you don't need a passport to fly within Canada.  With most airlines you will need a government issued photo ID - your driver's license is the typical one.  I fly a lot, and what I have seen is people not being allowed to board the plane because the name on their ticket was not exactly the same as the name on the ID - for example, Steve instead of Stephen.  So be careful of that.  On the other side of the coin as a previous poster mentioned, in some places you will be able to board a plane with minimal ID, but don't count on it.  It is the exception rather than the rule these days.  Best of luck.

  6. You don't need a passport to travel within Canada you need a government issued photo ID such as a driver's license or a birth certificate

  7. Just photo ID

  8. You need a ticket obviously and acceptable ID. What constitutes acceptable ID is at the discretion of the airline.

Normally they will request government issue ID but if you are stuck somewhere and desperate you can beg and if the airline feels compassionate they will let you fly with some fairly minimal ID. I managed to fly two years ago with a TD Canada Trust ATM card and a Porsche roadside assistance card neither of which had a picture.
