Also when you tell me things like basic diseases...what are th basic diesases?

If anyone is in vet school could you give me some sample questions off your homework?

Anything would help!

  1. you will learn everything you need to know when you make the vet program....1st you need a 4.0 GPA. my cousin just made it into vet school and he had to make PERFECT grades

  2. Choose the schools you would like to attend and request information on their requirements.  In the meantime, keep your grades up...way up.  It is competetive.

  3. You don't need to know anything like that. Just make sure that you take a lot of math and science in college.

BTW-it's harder to get in vet school than medical school.

  4. As the previous response says, you don't need to know any specific questions but you do need AAA in your A-levels including at least 2 sciences I believe. I know that chemistry is essential as I had hoped to study vetinary science but have ended up doing a zoology masters as I wasn't good enough at chemistry. If you're serious about it you need to send off for prospectuses from the universities that teach it and consider whether you'd be able to get the grades

  5. I would like to be a vet too...

You have to get amazing grades in Chem, Maths, Blodge and poss Physics.

You should volunteer as much as possible, to gain practical experience while handling animals.

Vet uni is hard...you will have to perform euthanasia, handle loads of farm animals too and work in an abbattoir.

So I say prepare that way!

  6. Depends on where you live and which school you want to get in to.

My daughter is working to get into vet school (Mississippi State University); during her senior year of HS, she worked with a vet to earn early entry (consideration) into vet school.  She had to work 460 hrs with the vet, get a reference, and score 26 on her ACT.

She will earn early entry by attending MSU the ENTIRE 7 years.  (3 years of pre vet, 4 years of vet).  Of course, she must do well in her 3 years of pre vet, but not necessarily earn 4.0 in EVERY class.

There is a SHORTAGE of large animal vets in the U.S.  If you apply to vet school and want to practive on large animals, make sure you FOCUS on that to encourage your acceptance into vet school.

You might do a search to find out which schools have high applicants to admissions and apply to as many schools as possible to increase you chances of getting in.

    Good luck.
