In general, you will just need basic skills if this is your first job. They will teach you the specifics of operating a register, preparing and making the food and drinks, customer service.

They will expect that you have a neat and clean appearance, can communicate with, understand and interact with others (employees and customers), have basic math skills (making change, measuring ingredients, reading scales and temperatures) and can be depended upon to be reliable and ready to work.

They will also let you know if (and when and where) you need to get any additional training or certifications for food handling or employment. These vary from state to state, but won't be too difficult to accomplish - usually just filling out a form and taking a short class or seminar, and maybe sometimes a small fee, but some companies pay that as well.

All you really need to bring is a good, positive attitude and the willingness to provide 100% - they should teach you all the additional skills you will need.
