  1. home from school at two o'clock or then off to hel...emm I mean work at three, life is boring.  after work I rest only to repeat the next day.

  2. ~lol~  You're not going to expect this answer!  I almost NEVER leave home/work!

We live on a permaculture farm. Home and work are one in the same! The time spend goofing off on the computer is when I need to take a break between chores, the weather is wretched, or I'm trying to keep myself awake.  During kidding season (when my goats are giving birth), I can be on the computer at very odd hours, answering questions, or doing research at 2AM.

Since we live on a farm, there's almost always something to do.  I'll go for a horseback ride, for my enjoyment.  Some people go to the movies, I go for a horseback ride.

We are all very, very fast, and avid readers. I usually read a book a day, sometimes two.

I do lots of crafts, like quilting, or spinning the fiber from my angora goats, and knitting something.

Since we grow 90% of our own food, that means a great deal of my time is spent preserving our food (canning, freezing, dehydrating, ect).

It also means I spend countless hours pouring over seed, and orchard catalogs. Making notes, trying to find the very best seeds or trees to plant. The fruit and nut trees bring me a great deal of angst. Trees are not like vegtable seeds. When you order vegtable seeds, usually within 6 months you know if the vegtable is tastey, and works well in your enviroment. Fruit trees can take years before they start to bear, especially since I like the heritage breeds. Some nut trees can take decades. So I spend a lot of time doing research and trying to choose wisely.

There's a ton of wildlife on our farm, so I can spend hours watching wildlife. This morning our Great Pyrenees found a pack of coyotes in the deep grass by our creek. The Pyrenees were chasing the coyotes which were trying to dodge them in the tall grass. The half grow coyote puppies got sepparated from the adults and were crying for their parents to come find them. We called the Pyrenees off, so the coyotes could re-unite and scram out of the pasture. We don't want our livestock guardian dogs to have to kill the coyotes, but we certainly don't want the coyotes to kill the young sheep or goats. They killed most of the lambs this spring.

I love to walk in the fields at night. The frogs will be singing in the early spring. Much of the year, I can watch the bats swooping and eating bugs by the pound. All year long, I can watch the barn owls as they fly just a few feet over the pastures searching for prey.

The blue herons, bald eagles, and wood ducks are always delightful to watch.

Watching nature, the domestic animals, cooking/preserving food, crafting, reading, researching, crafting, spending time with friends, family, and pets.....those are the things I love to do best.

  3. great question man, wondering the same thing...

Like, i get along with everyone right, but i just dont really "hang out". Most of the time, when i get back from work/school, I just stay home, frustratingly, usually on the computer, or watching c**p on tv....Sometimes i get kinda restless, then its really frustating cause its like, there must be something else to do, hang out with!. ..ya. lol

  4. I usually have a little nap...lol...:) that recharges me..then I get on the computer!!!..lol. No actually, I just relax..watch tv..read the paper..talk to friends on the phone...family....etc...

  5. watch TV, yahoo answers, check email, read, watch a movie, or just hang out with my husband, and cook and eat dinner together.

  6. Well I usually go to school at 7 in the morning and Id say I get back around 7:30 pm after a few hours at the pitch for practice. When I get back it is homework first, dinner second, tv and computer come last. Then its to bed at 12-1 and repeat.

  7. I work from 1:30pm to 10:30pm and I have a half an hour drive to and from work to home.  By the time I get home it's almost 11pm.  I let the dog out, change from my work scrubs into my jammies, and then grab a cold drink.  Iced Tea.  I try and catch the weather on the weather channel, unless the news has been late for some reason, and then I head to the computer.  I usually read my emails first and then reply.  Then I check out my OD page, and answer back and then I come here for a little bit.  And just before I'm done, I play a few rounds of Rainforest Adventure.  I have 3 million points so far and I'm on level 17-4.  I'm trying to see how far I'll get before the game quits on me.

  8. These days I am mostly out picking tomatoes or other fruits or veggies from the garden, but I also pull some weeds or bring lawn clippings to fertilize the garden.  In August we have really only just started harvesting. Before now it was just prodding it on to  grow faster.

I get home about 10:am. Hardly worth going in.

  9. I usually get home between 7:30 and 8:00, depending on how busy we are. I change into my comfy clothes, have dinner, and usually spend the rest of the evening rotting my brain on Yahoo! Answers.

  10. have sports practice,dinner,hw,computer
