  1. I packed for pre-k in a zip lock bags

You can pick and choose from the list below.

-sliced apples - peanut butter to dunk or scoop with ... Ritz crackers

-plain cooked Ziti with a little olive oil just so they don't stick together - Now they have pinwheels

-Square chuck [bite size] hard cheese from the block cheese

    -Bananas

    - yogurt

    -Cheerios

    -gummy /bears/fish/worms

    -grapes

    -carrot sticks

-Celery sticks with cream cheese to dunk

I hope that helps to start you with

  2. Pretty much whatever. Sandwiches, mostly, or tuna, egg, chicken, or macaroni salad... but tip on keeping things like apple slices fresh: Put lemon juice on 'em. They don't go brown that way.

  3. I used to pack boiled eggs, grilled chicken, raw veggies, those ham and cheese snackable things, fruit, cheese stix, yogurt, crackers, basically finger foods.  If you take a fruit juice box and freeze them you can put them in with the food.  They keep the food cold and are thawed by lunch time (at least in FL they are!).
