  1. Cheap as chips (biodiesal)?

On me bike again is it?

  2. the way its going it will be 3 pounds per litre

  3. Fuel costs always stay the same. (Well actually in real terms, fuel is slightly cheaper than it was in the 1960s - but all tax was higher then)  The numbers may change, but fuel costs are the main driving force behind inflation.  So if fuel costs double the money, so does everything else and wages rise to match.  The losers are the people on a fixed income.

  4. If the GW scam continues the oil Co. may have all the money by then.

  5. If some predictions are to be believed, there won't be much left.

With the USA only having a decade or so of reserves the scrabble for control of the worlds reserves by fair means or foul will escalate.

  6. Up and away.....if they consume less, then we'll tax they asses more........

  7. Electric cars can and will be refueld for pence per mile, eg the Tesla http://www.teslamotors.com built by Lotus in Norfolk.

UK fuel, or fuel in the UK?

Worldwide demand for fossil fuel is increasing & all the easy/cheap to reach & refine supplies have been used. and in the very near future demand will outstrip supply, and by market forces the price will rocket aka Peak Oil

UK oil & gas supplies are getting exhausted now. Coal mines have mostly been closed for economic/political reasons (eg subsidies), and there are few opportuniites for new ones.

Price of wind generation could tecnically come down but no-one wants them nearby.

The costs of decommissioning nuclear have escallated hugely.

Other sources of bio-fuel, CHP, wave, tidal ... are all entering the market loaded against them due to economies of scale & regulation.

  8. In five years time the price of fuel will be government set and restricted in its use.

The rise of vehicle use in the est and sub continent will see resources stretched in such a way that production will fail to keep apace. Bio crops will fail to make up the measure, especially when world crops begin to take a higher tumble and starvation becomes more widespread.

The price in five years will exceed greatly the current percentage of our average income currently taken up. By comparison to todays prices I would expect it to double in the very least.

  9. With the world falling apart, I see 20 cents a gallon just to get rid of extra fuel

  10. I honestly wouldn't be suprised if it went up by a pound a year.

    It's already bad enough.

    I mean 60 litres for £60 it's just stupid.

You're lucky if you find only £1 per litre.

    It's usually over that.

Good luck if you want to reduce it.

Beleive me you'd be popular if you did.

  11. It's too depressing to even contemplate! I thought it would never go over £1 but that's cheap these days.

  12. it will cost money
