What do you predict will happen with gas prices over the next 2 years? Will they double? Triple?

I have heard they will at least double over the next 12 to 18 months.

I think that they will continue to rise.  We need to find another energy source.  Not ethanol, which is very very inefficient.  In Brazil they use switch grass and sugar cane and it is very very efficient.  The technology is out there we just have to be willing to change!!!

I don't think so because demand has already shown some signs of weakening here in the US at $4 per gallon. Unless there was a huge natural disaster I doubt it'll ever get that high.

i think there will be more people walking and using bikes in the future

the prices will probably die down in a few months due to the boom in china because of the Beijing Olympics. but when i look into next few years, i believe prices will probably rise to $7-8 dollars per gallon. it is estimated that the U.S. will run out of gas in 2030.

I think it will reach at least $4.50 to $5.00 gallon. Time to walk.
