Would you rather live your life in a constant meagerly amused attitude, but possess the "truth" as far as how the Universe was created in terms of evolution? Or would you rather live a life of happiness and satisfaction in how your afterlife will be settled in terms of Christianity, and know that your life is not a matter of coencidence or an accident.

  1. In most situations, happiness is more important.

But in this scenario, happiness (Christianity) is the truth.

  2. I would choose happiness over truth, except I do not agree with the christian religion, or any religion for that matter. Religion is subjugation veiled in false hope. I do not know how I got here, what my purpose is, or where my life is headed. The thing is, I am completely happy with that. I appreciate life and all it has to offer, and how ever I got here - I am grateful.

  3. Jesus said "the truth shall set you free." Why do you see a conflict between Christianity and the truth? And haven't you answered your own question? (Maybe you are following the wrong kind of christian belief - like the kind that insists you believe lies.)

  4. Truth. In one case i'd rather put on a bad outfit have my friend say " I dont think you look so great in that outfit try this one!"

to have him or her tell me I look great and when I get to..... a party and have everybody laughing at me when I get there.

  5. Truth.  You are most happy when your friends are being truthful.

  6. truth bby

  7. It's the same thing. Truth sets you free and freedom is bliss.

  8. On the road to true happiness, truth is trampled upon.

  9. Both, from truth, eventually comes happiness.

I'm always happy, but a lot of people don't tell me the truth for fear I might lash out?

  10. truth

  11. I disagree that evolution is truth or that Christianity will bring happiness. That aside, I would choose the blue pill, because it is impossible for humans to know the truth anyway. I would rather be blissful and ignorant rather than miserable and ignorant.

You are making many questionable assumptions. I think it would be better just to ask whether people would prefer truth or happiness, without attaching one or the other to a certain belief system.

  12. Truth u become happy when a freind does not lie 2 u

  13. Truth, it puts my mind a ease and makes me happy. (killing two birds with one stone).

  14. happiness b/c ignorance = bliss

  15. I agree sometime that ignorance can be bliss.. but in my world.. in order for me to be happy I have to have truth. Truth=Happiness. I get them both if I am honest and believe others are honest as well. If they lie and I don't know it.. ignorance=bliss. ;-)
