Integrity and personality.

You can change competence and attitude, but you cannot change the other two.

Integrity is a rare attribute these days, and a good personality will go much further than attitude.

These are not mutually exclusive terms.  If one has integrity it seems to me that competence would follow, or if the job is too tough or undoable, integrity would admit that rather than s***w it up.

Personality shapes attitude.  If someone is optimistic they will have a good attitude, if pessimistic they will be a downer.
