  3. The book

e.g. Holes movie and book by Louis Sachar

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe movie and book by C.S.

            Lewis.

I like books better because I get more detail, and I get to imagine the characters myself, how they look, their personality............

  4. lord of the ring the movie.

  5. the book most definetly

    the book triumphs any movie

  6. Usually, I would go with the book.

There are two exceptions to this :~

    1) 'The Company of Wolves' ~ Angela Carter

She co-wrote the screenplay, adapted from a blend of several short stories. Whilst the stories themselves are excellent, the film really pulled them together into better coherance.

    2) 'The Crow Road' ~ Iain Banks

Watching the BBC TV adaptation made me buy the book, which is an amazing work. But, the TV version was also excellent, and even Iain himself says it was better than the book...

  14. I prefer the book the Green Mile.  Don't get me wrong I loved the movie but the book went in to a much greater detail. The same is true with all of the Harry Potter books.

  16. The book first to get more details. Then the movie so you can see if how you envisioned it is how they made it. I read and saw The Green Miles years ago. Sorry.

  17. The book, The Stand by Stephen King sticks out in my mind for me.

  18. The Book was much better than the movie, and so is the musical.
