  1. Dear Sirs,

I am deeply honored that your association has chosen to award me the Parker-Louis Scholarship.  This scholarship will allow me to pursue my degree in animal husbandry without working after school.  I will have time to study and research, and I expect my grades will benefit as well.

I and my family thank you sincerely.

    Yours truly,

    John Piston

  2. Well, you might put in your thank you letter for the scholarship, how much you appreciate them selecting you, and that you will do your very best to use the educational opportunity they are helping you with to do something good in society.

Good for you and don't listen to the rude people who pick on your spelling. It does take alot of editing for me to get all my grammar, punctuation and spelling correctly.  Spell check would not notice that latter was spelled incorrectly, since latter is a word spelled that way.

    Spell check is not infallible.

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ON RECEIVING A SCHOLARSHIP OF ANY TYPE.  YOU JUST KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK.  YOU ARE ALREADY EARNING YOUR WAY IN THE WORLD AND CAN BE VERY VERY PROUD OF YOURSELF AND YOUR ABILITIES TO DATE.

    Way to go  :)
