What do you put in the tub when bathing kids ages 1 and up?

When they are to big for the plastic tubs and you put them in the bathroom tub do you put something in it like around them or something so when they are playing they dont slip?

  1. nope. once he could sit perfectly on his own, i put him in our big jacuzzi tub with no ring or bath seat or anything.

    he's free to play and crawl around even because i only put a few inches of water.  


  2. I got a rubber tub mat with suction cups on the bottom from Target because now that he is a big boy (at 1) he stands up and walks around in the tub. Some people get those decals for the bottom of the tub instead of the mat.

  4. yes. i put a bath towel to keep them from slipping. but if you are too unsure  of how well they can keep themselves there. why not shower them on the kitchen sink. a lot of people do it there till they are a little more balanced and they don't fall back. hope this helps.
