I just got this very cute Pokemon bento the other day!! Its soooooo cute!! ^^

I dont know what to put in it other then rice and sushi lol:P

  1. Udon, edamame, gyoza, takuan, wakame salad, namasu would be good. You will look like cute Harajuku eating your bento.


  2. As you know the bento ordinated in Japan for the factory workers and farmers.  Rice and any meat or fish, pickled veg's, pickled daicong.  Your bento can be as elaborate or as simple as you want it to be.

  3. You could put in some pickled veggies.

Bento box is basically lunch box.  Usually, leftovers are put in it, along with pickled items.  Just put a lot of different things you like to eat in it, kind of like Lunchables.  The more different food you put, the more fun it should be.  In Hawaii, we put rice, barbeque meat, pickled vegtable - that's a simple one.  You could just name it like a P&J bento, that will be okay - put peanutbutter jelly sandwich, chips, fruits, sardines (if you're weird. lol), brownies or cookies.  Or leftover from your dinner the night before.  Make sure it's not going to spoil.
