I am having a stirfry for my birthday. This is my list so far:

Ingredients to Fry-

Baby Corn

Tofu

Noodles

Chicken

Pinapple

Water Chesnuts

Rice

Pocky (for dessert!)

Carrots

Chopsticks

Seasoning-

Lemons

Soy Sauce

Teriyaki

Lemon Pepper

Any suggestions for flavorings? Or more ingredients to fry? Thanks!

P.S. I can't stand eating asian food without chopsticks. It's so annoying.

  1. Stir-fry (Chinese) Seasonings missing are minced garlic & minced ginger. The teriyaki sauce is Japanese not Chinese. But you can use it if you want to. The Chinese cooking use the Soy Sauce to sweeten it they add sugar instead. If you want a sauce in you can also use Oyster Sauce. Cornstarch, Water. The lemon pepper is unusal as seasonings but you can use it.

Missing Snow peas, Green Onion tops, or beansprouts. Don't add the pineapple thats if your making sweet & sour dishes.

  2. Bamboo shoots and slivered almonds also. Snow peas (pods). Yes, candied ginger slices too.

  3. I love to add ginger and garlic in addition to those things you have listed.

  4. Add garlic. Ginger & chillies can be a good option & will give a twist. Also  try it with sesame oil & oyster sauce.

I personally wont prefer pineapple in stir fry dishes. Unless if it is a pineapple fried rice. Happy Cooking
